What are the general specific procedures for ordering LED displays from overseas manufacturers?
Confirm full technical specs in advance: screen dimension, pixel pitch (P value), indoor/outdoor usage, brightness, IP rating, GOB or standard technology, mounting method, required certifications (CE, FCC, UL, RoHS), destination country and budget. Send full requirements to manufacturers for technical proposal and quotation.
The factory provides screen layout drawing, cabinet & module configuration, control system recommendation, detailed quotation with trade terms (EXW/FOB/CIF/DDP), production lead time, spare parts, flight case, warranty period and quotation validity. You may compare multiple suppliers and negotiate price & configurations.
After both sides confirm specs, price and delivery time, the supplier issues a stamped PI. You double-check all details and sign back the PI or sales contract, clarifying warranty terms and liability clauses.
Standard international payment term: 30% deposit to launch production. The factory arranges BOM procurement, SMT production and module assembly.
After you approve the full-screen test report, pay the remaining 70% balance. All cabinets, modules, cables, spare parts and tools are packed into shockproof flight cases with detailed packing list.
The factory prepares full customs documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and product certifications. Book shipping space via forwarder, complete export customs clearance and share tracking & departure info with you.


Local freight forwarder assists customs clearance and tax payment. You pick up goods and check for damage or missing items upon arrival.
