2. Price fluctuation range: obvious volatility, divided into short-term and long-term cycles
- Monthly short-term swings (normal fluctuation range: 3%–15%)Around 70% of module costs stem from upstream raw materials. Gold, silver paste, copper, copper-clad PCB and wafer capacity directly change quotations:
- When precious metals or semiconductors are in short supply, LED beads and ICs rise 5%–10%, and module prices follow with a 3%–15% increase within 1–2 months;

- Standard SMD modules: mature mass production leads to a slow long-term price decline, only slightly disturbed by raw material cycles;
- High-end COB / Mini/Micro LED modules: limited production capacity keeps prices high with very slow depreciation.
- Wider volatility for customized special-shaped modulesFlexible curved modules, transparent screen panels and special corner modules lack standardized mass production. Extra mold and testing costs make their price adjustments more drastic than regular rigid modules during market shifts.
3. Purchasing suggestions
- Compare quotations only under identical specs: same pitch, brightness, packaging and chip brand; otherwise price comparison is invalid.
- Sign long-term price locks for large-volume orders to hedge against raw material hikes.
- Reserve a 5%–10% flexible budget for small urgent orders as short-term cost swings are unavoidable.
