Daily Work & Salary Package of Structural Engineer in LED Display Manufacturers

Daily Job Responsibilities

1.Product Structural Design

1. Complete 3D modeling for rental cabinets, fixed cabinets, irregular LED screens and transparent screens; draw 2D engineering drawings with CAD, Creo or ProE. Design die-cast aluminum cabinets, sheet metal frames, quick locks, flight case packaging, installation steel structures and heat dissipation systems. Generate BOM lists, assembly guides and on-site construction drawings.
   

2.New Project Tracking

1. Attend scheme reviews to evaluate structural feasibility, load capacity, waterproof grade, shock resistance and splicing flatness. Cooperate with mold manufacturers for mold development, prototype testing and trial production; revise structural defects such as assembly gaps, deformation and collision damage of samples51job.
   

3.Technical Support for Production & Construction Sites

1. Troubleshoot mass production structural defects and optimize designs to cut material costs. Communicate with sales teams to clarify customized requirements from clients. Visit construction sites to guide steel frame installation and inspect display mounting structures; fix on-site structural failures for stage rental and outdoor fixed screen projects.
   

4.Product Optimization & Document Management

1. Upgrade old cabinet structures, improve GOB protection and curved splicing designs. Sort out complete technical drawings and test reports; assist with structural patent applications51job.
   

5.Cross-department Cooperation

1. Align design plans with electronic, optical, procurement and production teams. Assess processing capacity of sheet metal, aluminum profile and plastic suppliers; finish ad-hoc drawing tasks for customized projects assigned by management.
   

Salary & Benefits (Domestic Industry Standard, 2026)

• Fresh graduates / under 1 year experience: CNY 7,000–11,000
• 1–3 years experience: CNY 10,000–18,000
• 3–5 years senior engineer: CNY 15,000–30,000; up to CNY 35,000 in large factories, mostly 13–14 months salary per year
