Correct Maintenance Methods for LED Display Screens
1. Daily Environmental Maintenance
Keep the machine room and installation area dry and ventilated to avoid long-term dampness and water accumulation.
Keep indoor screens away from areas with heavy oil fume and dust; regularly clean dust and stains on outdoor screen surfaces.
Avoid long-term direct sunlight on the screen surface to prevent accelerated fluorescent layer aging and local color difference.
Do not stack flammable and corrosive chemicals around the display.
2. Standard Power On & Power Off Operations
Power-on sequence: Turn on the control computer first, then supply power from the distribution box, and light up the LED screen last.
Power-off sequence: Turn off the LED display first, cut off the screen power supply, then shut down the control host.
Do not plug or unplug network cables, data wires or control cards before the screen is fully powered off to prevent chip burnout.
If the screen is idle for a long time, power it on for 2 hours every week to remove moisture; increase power-on frequency on rainy days.
3. Standard Cleaning & Care
Clean the screen only after power off and cooling down; never wipe the screen while powered on.
Wipe the surface gently with dust-free soft cloth and special screen cleaner. Alcohol, banana water, strong acid and alkali solvents are forbidden.
Blow dust in gaps with cold air of a dry hair dryer; never flush outdoor screens directly with water.
Check outdoor waterproof glue and sealed connectors every six months; reapply waterproof glue immediately if cracking or peeling occurs.
4. Circuit & Power Supply Maintenance
Inspect power cords and terminals monthly for looseness, overheating and black oxidation.
Regularly test leakage protectors and air switches in distribution boxes; replace damaged accessories at once.
Do not overload the power supply, and do not connect extra electrical appliances to the screen power circuit arbitrarily.
Cut off power in advance during thunderstorms; test lightning protection grounding resistance of outdoor screens regularly.
5. Control System & Screen Service Maintenance
Regularly clean junk files and scan viruses on the control computer; do not install irrelevant software.
Avoid running the screen at full maximum brightness for a long time to slow down module attenuation.
Stop operation for maintenance promptly if black screen, messy screen or massive dead pixels appear; do not run the screen with faults for a long time.
Conduct full-screen color calibration once a year to eliminate color difference at cabinet splicing seams.
6. Mechanical Structure Maintenance
Check the tightness of steel structure and bracket screws every quarter; apply anti-rust treatment to outdoor brackets.
Remove dust from cooling fans and ventilation passages regularly to ensure smooth heat dissipation.
Lubricate maintenance doors, latches and splicing locks regularly to prevent jamming and rust.
